LeanBiome How to Use and Dosage: 2 Capsules, Timing and Tracking

The LeanBiome label says to take 2 capsules a day, preferably in the morning before breakfast. That is the whole serving: 20 billion CFU of probiotics plus inulin, green tea phytosome, Sphaeranthus indicus and mangosteen. A 60-capsule bottle lasts 30 days. Ingredient trials ran 8 to 16 weeks, so judge it after about three bottles and track your waist and weight.

Part of our LeanBiome overview. Last checked October 27, 2026.

LeanBiome how to use and dosage, in one line: take 2 capsules a day, "preferably in the morning before breakfast," as the label directs[1]. Each bottle holds 60 delayed-release capsules, so one bottle is 30 days. The label gives no other instructions, so everything beyond that line on this page is marked as our reading of the sources. The views in this guide are our own.

How do you take LeanBiome?

Swallow 2 capsules once a day, ideally in the morning before breakfast. That is the label's full direction, and the serving size printed on the Supplement Facts panel is 2 capsules, with 30 servings per bottle[1].

What the label says:

  • serving size: 2 capsules
  • timing: "preferably in the morning before breakfast"
  • capsule type: delayed-release (DRcaps), made to pass the stomach before opening

What we infer, not stated on the label: swallow the capsules whole with water, since opening a delayed-release capsule would defeat its purpose. The label does not say whether you can split the 2 capsules across the day, and it gives no maximum. Take no more than the 2-capsule serving.

The label also gives no rule for a missed dose. Our reading: skip it and take the next 2 capsules at your usual time, without doubling up, since doubling would exceed the only serving the label lists.

What is the right dose and timing?

The right dose is the label's 2 capsules a day, and no trial has tested any other LeanBiome dose. That serving supplies 20 billion CFU of nine probiotic species plus 200 mg inulin, 300 mg decaffeinated green tea phytosome, 300 mg Sphaeranthus indicus and 100 mg mangosteen[1]. The full list is on our LeanBiome ingredients page.

On timing, one point is worth raising with your doctor. A review of 159 human studies found green tea extract liver injury is dose-dependent and worse with bolus or fasting doses[2]. The label's "before breakfast" may mean an empty stomach for some people. If you have any liver concern, ask whether taking it with breakfast suits you better.

Consistency matters more than the clock. The probiotic trials the vendor draws on gave the strain daily for 12 weeks[3], so a daily habit at the same time is the closest match.

How long does one bottle last?

One bottle lasts 30 days at 2 capsules a day. LeanBiome is sold only in packs of 2, 3 or 6 bottles through ClickBank, with no single-bottle option. Prices below are from the vendor page and checkout, checked October 27, 2026.

PackageDays suppliedPrice (US)Cost per day, before shipping
2 bottles60$158 plus $9.95 shipping$2.63
3 bottles90$207 plus $9.95 shipping$2.30
6 bottles180$294, free US shipping$1.63

Most ingredient trials ran 12 weeks, about three bottles. The 180-day refund window counts from the order date, not delivery[4]. See the LeanBiome price breakdown for shipping and bonus details.

If you stop early, the refund page says opened or empty bottles do not need to be sent back. Unopened bottles go back undamaged, with the packing slip, at your own shipping cost, to Lean for Good in Tallmadge, Ohio[4]. ClickBank, the retailer, also takes refund requests. Keep your bottles until you decide.

What should you not combine with LeanBiome?

Do not stack LeanBiome with another green tea extract product, and check every prescription with a pharmacist first. The label lists decaffeinated green tea extract and no caffeine, so the stacking concern is green tea catechins, not caffeine. NCCIH links green tea extract capsules to uncommon liver injury[5], and doubling up adds to the dose.

  • Other green tea or EGCG supplements
  • Other probiotic or fiber supplements, which can add gas and bloating
  • Nadolol, atorvastatin or raloxifene, which interact with green tea[5]
  • Chemotherapy, immunosuppressants, cyclosporine or tacrolimus
  • Antibiotics at the same time of day, since they may kill the probiotic bacteria[6]

The full list of cautions is on our LeanBiome side effects page.

How do you track whether it is doing anything?

Keep a short weekly log, because the trials measured small changes that are easy to miss. Record:

  1. the date you placed the order and the date you started, for the refund window
  2. body weight once a week, same day, same time, before breakfast
  3. waist at the navel once a week, since the probiotic trials found changes in belly fat more than in weight[3]
  4. any gas, bloating or stomach upset, and whether it settles
  5. any changes in diet or activity, which also move these numbers

Our BMI calculator guide helps you set a starting point. Check the log at 12 weeks.

The vendor says "the longer you take Biome, the better your results." The ingredient trials in our sources mostly ran 8 to 16 weeks, and none tested LeanBiome, so no study backs open-ended use. If your log shows no change by 12 weeks, that is useful information while the refund window is still open.

When should you stop and talk to a doctor?

Stop LeanBiome and talk to a doctor if stomach upset lasts beyond the first couple of weeks, or if you start a new medicine. See a doctor right away if:

  • your skin or eyes turn yellow, your urine darkens, or you have pain under the right ribs
  • you get a fever or chills while immunocompromised or on chemotherapy
  • stomach pain is severe or vomiting will not stop
  • your face, lips or throat swell, or breathing gets hard

Anyone pregnant or breastfeeding should ask a doctor before starting.

Frequently asked questions

What is the LeanBiome dosage?

The label serving is 2 capsules a day, preferably in the morning before breakfast. Those 2 capsules supply 20 billion CFU of probiotics, 200 mg inulin, 300 mg green tea phytosome, 300 mg Sphaeranthus indicus and 100 mg mangosteen.

Can I take LeanBiome at night?

The label says preferably in the morning before breakfast and gives no evening option. It does not forbid other times. Taking it at the same time each day is the closest match to the daily dosing used in trials.

Should LeanBiome be taken with food?

The label suggests before breakfast. A safety review found green tea extract liver risk worse with fasting doses, so people with any liver concern should ask a doctor whether to take it with breakfast instead.

Can I take more than 2 LeanBiome capsules a day?

The label lists a 2-capsule serving and no higher dose, and no study has tested LeanBiome at any dose. Extra capsules add green tea extract, so stay at 2 capsules a day.

How long should I take LeanBiome before judging it?

Most ingredient trials ran 12 weeks, which is about three bottles. Track weight and waist weekly, and keep the order date, since the 180-day refund window runs from the order date.
